Clean Serendib (Private) Limited launched its state-of-the-art beach-cleaning machine at Mount Lavinia Beach, marking an important milestone in the company’s commitment to coastal cleanliness and environmental protection in Sri Lanka.
The inauguration ceremony was organized by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Aravinda Athukorala, and attended by invited guests who gathered to witness the launch of this innovative beach-cleaning technology.
During the event, guests had the opportunity to experience the machine firsthand by driving it and observing its operation on the beach. The demonstration highlighted the potential of mechanized beach cleaning.
The introduction of this machine represents a significant step towards adopting modern and efficient solutions for beach maintenance. Designed to remove plastic waste and other debris from sandy shorelines, the machine aims to support cleaner beaches while minimizing disturbance to the natural coastal environment.
Following the inauguration ceremony, the event continued with a breakfast gathering at Berjaya Hotel, Mount Lavinia, where the invited guests had the opportunity to share their experiences and celebrate this milestone with the Clean Serendib team.
Through this initiative, Clean Serendib (Private) Limited aims to contribute to a cleaner coastal environment and promote the use of modern technology in beach-cleaning operations across Sri Lanka. The launch marks the beginning of the company’s efforts to demonstrate how mechanized solutions can support sustainable coastal management and enhance the beauty of the country’s beaches.
